Her last two victims, dog walkers who were picked at random, survived her attacks with serious injuries.

Despite her killing spree, Dennehy wanted to “do some more” and fled to Hereford where she stabbed Robin Bereza, 64, and John Rogers, 56.

Her alleged assistants Gary Richards, 47, and Leslie Layton, 37, are on trial at Cambridge Crown Court where they deny helping cover up the murders.

The disturbing images of Dennehy and Richards were shown to the court.

They include one of Dennehy sticking her tongue out at the photographer while clasping a massive jagged dagger. A pair of handcuffs hang from her belt.

Another photo shows the killer posing provocatively with her top pulled up to show off her red bra and the self-harming scars on her stomach.

A third image shows Richards mimicking her pose, pulling up his top to reveal a large paunch.

The photos were shown as Mark Lloyd, an associate of Richards, and Dennehy’s friend Georgina Page gave evidence.

In one of the pictures Mr Lloyd is seen leaning on a fence with Richards as the pair stick their fingers up at the camera.

Mr Lloyd told the court her was forced to watch as Dennehy tried to kill the two men in Hereford and said: “She held the knife like in Psycho.”

He said he met Dennehy at a friend’s flat in Kingstone, near Hereford, last April.

The court heard that she introduced herself saying: “Hello Mark, I’m a killer. I’ve killed three people, Gary helped dispose of them and I want to do some more.

“I want some fun. You have had your fun Gary, I want some fun now.”

Mr Lloyd said Dennehy started flirting with him before asking him to come to the car where she had carried out the attacks.

He said: “She was caressing my backside and running her hand down my neck. It was like being touched by a rattlesnake.”

He claimed he was forced to join Dennehy and Richards in their Vauxhall Astra as they went scouting for more victims.

Richards spotted Mr Bereza walking his dog and pulled up asking Dennehy: “Will her do?”, the court heard.

Mr Lloyd said she jumped out of the car and launched a frenzied attack on the retired firefighter.

He said: “She gets in the car, she’s as happy as Larry, big smile on her face. She kissed Gary on the cheek and said, ‘Thanks’.”

Richards then stopped the car near where Mr Rogers was walking his pet lurcher allowing Dennehy to carry out an even more brutal attack before stealing the dog and returning to the car, Mr Lloyd claimed.

Georgina Page told the court Dennehy had visited her home in Kings Lynn shortly after the murders and said she wanted her crime spree to end like Bonnie and Clyde.

Dennehy pleaded guilty to three murders and two attempted murders at the Old Bailey last November. She also confessed to preventing the lawful and decent burial of all three victims.

For some killers, it isn't enough to take the lives of their victims. Some must capture the moment with a photograph, a memento mori of the sickest variety. In many cases, police departments have released these images of murder, either to assist in the identification of victims, or as a testament to the sheer brutality of these killers' crimes. Here are ten such examples of photos of murder, taken by serial killers and other murderers themselves. Be warned, however: some of the photographs on this list are quite graphic.

The girl in this photo is believed to be kidnapping victim Tara Calico, though the boy is as yet unidentified. What's most chilling about this Polaroid is that it was discovered in a parking space minutes after a plain white van left the spot in September 1988.

Investigators theorize the photograph was taken that very moment, with the boy and girl inside the van, tantalizingly close but so far away from rescue. Whether the victim is indeed Calico or not, the fate of these two is unknown.

Serial killer Harvey Glatman's M.O. involved luring women to his hotel room, pretending to be a photographer looking to pay quick cash for a few snapshots. Once inside the room, he would tie the women up, photograph, and then kill them. Sometimes, the photo shoot did not end after death..
In late 1989, 14-year-old Regina Kay Walters fell victim to serial killer Robert Ben Rhoades, who drove a semi truck equipped with a torture chamber in the back. The expression of absolute terror and the defensive position of her hands is absolutely chilling.
Rodney Alcala, dubbed the 'Dating Game Killer' due to his rather surreal appearance on The Dating Game prior to his arrest, may be responsible for over 200 murders. Police discovered a wealth of photographs of young woman, many of whom have not yet been identified, and who are suspected victims of Alcala.
